Here We Go

This is more like a project-life style layout. We went to Inspiration Lake near Disney Land in Hong Kong in September. It was lovely weather there. Kids were super exciting when they found such a big leaf and they created many ways to play with it.

These squares are 3" x 3", i cut many of them in different sizes and papers, then layer them together. Hand lettering  with watercolour will add more personality on the layout.

There are many cute embellishments come with this collection. The embroidered canvas, transparent accents, puffy sticker, etc. all of them are so unique to match your fall photos.

Darling

I drawn the background  with watercolour. The design comes from the one of the original paper from Pink Paislee. i just simply re-drawn it to a bigger version. How colorful is that?!

Gold sequins matchs to everything and add dimensions to the layout. This fox is my favourite !

This foam title sticker was original white, i inked it with gold ink pad just button half to create the layer and dimension. you can ink it in different colors or simply draw lines or patterns on it.

 Cherish Today

This is another layout i drawn my own background. i used watercolor paint for the green leaf and hand write the quotes on. Hand writing is same as drawing which adds your personality, and differentiate your work to the others.

This foot print was traced from the wood foot print piece  and cut out from prima pins packing paper (you can find both on the kit photo at top), as i like the raw color but much flatter than the wood embellishment.

Love

i love this purple. it is soft and perfect match with the wood grain grey. It gives a very natural and comfortable background.

I fussy cut some acorn from one of the paper, aren't they cute? Transparent accents are good for layering, you can stick them with tape or glue dots.

These are four layouts for the Jan kit. Love this kit , and hope you will like it too!

All Hearts Come Home For Christmas

I applied gesso onto Donna Downey's Random Circle stencil onto the paper for background, and I added the Aleene's Glitter Snow onto the christmas tree, snowflakes and flowers, this magic snow adds a touch of sparkle onto your holiday projects and i really love it!

Those little houses comes from Fiskars border punch - main street, it is so cute with some snows on top!

A christmas red bow will highlight the focus point and created the layers.

Reason For The Christmas

This is a quick layout. Simply just cut out designs from the paper and place them onto the red cardstock, make sure you leave some red edge to create the layers. Place your photo and add embellishments.

A big flower will balance the layout and create dimension.

I draw lines around and add some stamping!

Christmas Banner

This year Prima Marketing is hosting a 12 days of Christmas challenge, which featuring different products each day and you can use them on your project to enter the challenge. I am entering Day 1 challenge - Victorian Christmas. More details here.

This pretty paper is very good for making home decor, banner, ornaments. cards etc. Today i would like to show you how to work on this quick and easy banner.

1. Cut out three banner from paper,  match them with red cardstock on the bottom.
2. Distress and edge of banner to create the vintage look. Apply distress ink Fired brick.
3. Cut out designs from paper and layer them together. remember to distress and edge as well.
4. Add embllishments.

For some details, I choose a paper with right top wreath and add my designs on the left side. Random stamping on the background using Tim Holtz's distress ink Fired brick.
The middle banner is different, i cut out some small banners and link them together on top, stamp JOY on them.

The right side banner, i added Kaisercraft rhinestone flourishes so it will shine. A wood piece from Prima  wood icons collection is a lovely choice.

Merry Christmas,

Happy

I love this paper at the first sight. It is clean but with different shades of green. As soon as i saw it, i already realise it will match my daughter's favourite dress and this is where the layout idea comes from. We took a lot of photos when she wear this dress and she is always happy when she's on it.

As i can't choose one favourite photo out of a hundred, i just decided to use four which were taken in the same serious - She made many  funny poses here. Even photos are quite small, I positioned them separately in two opposite corners and use a large gold shinny lettering as title to create the balance.

You Make My World Better

This is a quick layout. One single photo in the centre and rounded by title and embellishments. It takes me about half hour.

I positioned the black feather underneath, fuzzy cut out lovely elephant and bear from another paper (which is super cute). Use circle punch to cut out colourful paper and add some easy drawings on top of each circle.

Similar design at the right hand side, plus wood veneers and gold stickers from the kit, as well as some stamping from Seven Paper Phrases roller stamp.

Love This Adventure

The third layout is easy too. simply cut out some papers into flags, squares, or rectangles and layer them together. Don't worry about some very nice design will be buried as layers always looks good. I also used the roller stamp starts on top of the paper to create a boarder.

Here above are some close-ups for this layout.

Smile
This is my daughter first time wearing the ballet dress which was given by cousin Hilda. She was so happy to wear it as everybody says you are beautiful. i love this foil arrow paper as it directs all focus onto the photo.

The red doilies, fabric trim and sequins added a lot of interest onto the layout.

Handwriting in Gold using my new favourite Sharpie pens. i love this quote and i do believe one day you can fly, in your way.

Fussy cutting the flowers, the banner, add fabric flower and pink pearl to create layers.

Also add the MME's wood piece, and more gold sequins.

Loved.

This is a mixed media layout. I used white cardstock as background and spray yellow, peach, light blue onto it to match the photo.
i stamped on the cardstock to create background, and add a few accents onto it to balance the layout.

i also used some gesso onto circle stencil on the background.

i used the pearl trim to go around the photo, makes it like s frame and also created dimension. The gold leave and shinny square trim also add a lot interest onto layout.

this chipboard flower bottle is so cute.

Beautiful

This is a project life style layout. I choose some photos from beach.

Shaker card is very popular this year and i also create a small piece here with this pre-cut journal card.

A close-up look on the embllishemtn.

On top of the flower is one of the local sourced trim - is it gorgeous?!

This triangle  is the cut out piece from the trim in the above photo.

Another close up photo. I draw the outline on the main photo card to highlight it.

Overall, this is a very fun and beautiful kit to work with, there are lot of embellishments and gorgeous papers for different projects, i am sure you will enjoy it as much as i do. For more information, please visit http://papercraftbuffet.com
