HK Memory Chest Aug 2016 Kit Club

Hi there, here comes the Aug kit from HKMC/ Papercraft buffet, and a sad news that they will cease its kit clubs. Been in the design team for years, I love all the kits and it is sad to say goodbye. We all know Belly Lau (the owner) has been working hard on ordering up-to-date scrapbooking products, as well as sourcing from local stores for all the kits. I would like to Thanks her and the whole team who bring scrapbooking / paper crafting into Hong Kong market, it was a difficult job and you did it very very well.

Hello Love

This page is inspired by gift wrap idea from Wendy Sue @Pebbles. I love the scarlet polka dot paper which makes the photo pop.

To make this simple and neat page, color matching is very import. Just adding enamel dots will add more interest onto it.

Camping

This records the first camping with Ericsson's best friends . They spend two days one night together and enjoy the nature so much. 

Love these cute  enamel dot lined up !

Not too much embellishments for this page, but the flourish lettering surely my favourite. 

First Taste 

Love this Sunny Blossom paper. I cut about 3" and flip it over to create the background. Add a layer of vellum to soften the yellow, so it won't look too busy  under photo.

Love this quote and I think it was designed for my page :) 

Add some foil stickers will shine up your page.

We will have a final crop session at Discovery Bay on 20th Sep. I hope you can join us for the party for sharing our passion on scrapbooking. Even this is the last kit for now, we will continue scrapbooking and you can still ordering through papercraftbuffet.com

Here We Go

This is more like a project-life style layout. We went to Inspiration Lake near Disney Land in Hong Kong in September. It was lovely weather there. Kids were super exciting when they found such a big leaf and they created many ways to play with it. 

These squares are 3" x 3", i cut many of them in different sizes and papers, then layer them together. Hand lettering  with watercolour will add more personality on the layout.

There are many cute embellishments come with this collection. The embroidered canvas, transparent accents, puffy sticker, etc. all of them are so unique to match your fall photos.

Darling

I drawn the background  with watercolour. The design comes from the one of the original paper from Pink Paislee. i just simply re-drawn it to a bigger version. How colorful is that?! 

Gold sequins matchs to everything and add dimensions to the layout. This fox is my favourite !

This foam title sticker was original white, i inked it with gold ink pad just button half to create the layer and dimension. you can ink it in different colors or simply draw lines or patterns on it.

 Cherish Today

This is another layout i drawn my own background. i used watercolor paint for the green leaf and hand write the quotes on. Hand writing is same as drawing which adds your personality, and differentiate your work to the others. 

This foot print was traced from the wood foot print piece  and cut out from prima pins packing paper (you can find both on the kit photo at top), as i like the raw color but much flatter than the wood embellishment. 

Love 

i love this purple. it is soft and perfect match with the wood grain grey. It gives a very natural and comfortable background.  

I fussy cut some acorn from one of the paper, aren't they cute? Transparent accents are good for layering, you can stick them with tape or glue dots.
