First Ride

This polka dot paper is perfect to add your own color. I gesso the paper and draw the big heart with Gelatos from Faber Castell. i applied three colors and they are easily to blend together with water.

Paper flowers from Prima and Petaloo are both my favourite. They have nice flower shapes and details in color shading.

Pure Joy

This is another layout I create the background to match the photo color purple. I gesso the paper, stencil it and spray on top to create layers.

Here are the close-ups of different layers. I used thick gesso onto stencil as i run out of modelling paste. Add some twine and spray some darker purple spots.

I love this burlap chipboard letter, you can easily apply color on it to keep the consistency with the rest of the page. I simply used acrylic and my finger!

Life Reveals Your Beauty

This is the mix-media layout and this is what I learnt from Prima. You can check out their blog and you will be amazed for sure. Their design team is full of creativity and they turns everything into art!

The dimension of the flowers are good for layering. I apply gesso on flower to soften the color.

i distress the paper edge and ink the edge. Choose some embellishments with light color so it will be easy match.

More close-ups of this layout. We will hold again the crop session at DB in Sep due to summer holiday. Come join us and stay turned!.

Hey Sweetie

I used the Sweet and Sour paper navy side as background, handout two hexagons from Milk and Honey to create the contract base.

Here are some close-ups for the details. I draw stitch lines alongside the hexagon to create layer. The black leave were cut from the transparency paper Black and White.

There are another two pieces from the transparency paper, which is good for layering.

These Are The Days

This is a multi-photo page. I also used the solid color background. The good thing is to easy matching multi photo.

Besides the layering in paper, I also add some extra accents randomly, sequins, pearls, and even hand draw little cute shapes.

Baby Gone Styled

This is the third page i used the solid color background. See how much I love them! This one i gessoed the centre  to pop up the photo.

The yellow paper sharpen up the whole page, plus this cute little glasses - same one in the photo!

I coloured  the letter "styled" in hot pink by Sharpie.

Spread some watercolor randomly and add some wood embellishments to finish the page.

This is a very nice kit and you should give it a try!

See you at the crop,

My Hero

Love the blue and gold's combination on the background paper. i add the vellum under the photo to soften the background a bit so that it won't be too busy underneath the "hero".

Make little flags by washi tape to hang on the strip.

White foam letters pops up on blue paper.

Father and his little princess deserves a lot of flowers on this sweet photo. Always daddy's princess:)

Pateloo flowers are made from recycling materials and they are comes in variety of designs. I inserted cotton balls under the flower to create layers and add more interesting.

Cruise Ship

This is my first double page! The good thing for double page is you can include many photos in one layout. I used our first cruise ship photos and you can summarise your most important memory together.

The paper Reverie is nice, there are black on black patterns, i applied gesso on the Prima stencil to create a contrast effect.

I hand cut the green Daydream paper and layered some stickers on top.

You + Me

This is the pocket-style layout which can also include several photos, and still leave rooms for embellishment.

i created some random background on alphabet cards just like an artist !

Also spray randomly on the background paper to match! Gold foil title just perfect for highlight!

Here is how I create the card background - spray different colors on background, and put the card upside down to take away the exceed spray on top of the stencil, no waste!

Here are how they looks. Cover the central alphabet by stickers and they are done!

Thanks for stopping by!

WRMK “Honey I’m Home” Wood Veneer
Doodlebug color doilies
Maya Road Cup Metal Clips
Maya Road Twine
American Crafts Thickers – Celebrate Gold
Assorted Ribbons

Yours, Mine & Ours Smile

This is a simple layout. Photos are quite plain in color so it is easy for multicolour embllishements around them.

Yellow doily on both sides to create balance. Three pink elements also created a triangle for a balanced highlight.

I split some yellow acrylic paint around photo.

The lightbulb banner is super cute. The foam gold letter is so much fun to use, even the acrylic paint can stay on it after dry.

This Is Our Happy Life

This photo was taken on the way they went to school. It was a sunny day at the Victoria harbour. I use this small photo so i can place those super cute but large embellishments.

Die-cuts, stickers, wood veneers added together creates layers.

Enjoy Life

Eating is not her favourite so it's difficult to find a nice eating photos for my layout. Recently I took this photo and lucky it perfect matches the colour.

I prefer to keep my layout bit flatter for storage reason, these die-outs from the kit are prefect for thin layers!
