HKMC's Kit Club Oct 2013

Hi,
It's time to share Oct's kit club from HK Memory Chest!
This month's paper are from My mind's Eye - Find Your Wings and Fly  - Up and Away collection, its  a joyful mix of vintage ephemera and trendy patters, together with the coordinated embellishments inside the kit, believe you will enjoy creating!

Layout - Look Up and Fly
Love these papers a lot, especially this one. it seems many layers but actually its just one piece of paper. because of this, what i did is just adding some pieces of small paper to make up layers,  stick photos on, cut out hot air balloons, a tag and connect them with enamel dots!

and yes, flowers! this is flower from Pateloo! How cute !

Layout - Date in Roma

In this layout, i used Sizzix - Prima's Memphis die, the flower is quite big and i was thinking where i can use it for a while. Now its time and place for it!

Thanks for stopping by!

HKMC Kit Club June 2013

Hello Crafters,
Can't believe it is already summer in Hong Kong, we have been a busy May and June! There were many things happened here and we all love Summer!

June kit is about Simply Story's 24/ Seven collection. Yes, 24/7 - means 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - That's really busy busy busy time! Time to break? Do some crafts!

Here are two layouts I created as design team samples:

 Love This Boy

Just used solid cardstock as background, add in our new arrival - Petaloo flowers!

Greece Summer 2004

Sometimes I would like to try Mix media layouts and this is one of it. Gesso on background paper and stamp poppy image. Use black pen to trace the outline and adding some paints to make it like layered. At the bottom of puppy, I cut some felt petals and stick on it, I like the color to be different and pop it up!
Also got the idea of journaling, every letter is stamped image and located all over the page : )
Add some embllishment and pearls at the end.

Happy scrapping.
